Chaos vs. Calm

Recording season two of the Ex Appeal Podcast has been a tripppp. Wow.

For a long time in my life I craved intensity and chaos. I lived in New York City, drank a lot, and dated wildly. Now I live in Los Angeles, am mostly sober, and date un-wildly. It’s better.

I loved my wild days. I experimented a lot, learned a lot, felt a lot. But my God it was a lot. I am so happy for the stable ground that is my life: meditating, exercising, loving with peace.

Season two gets into a lot of sticky situations. Confusion. Fights. Misunderstandings. Threesomes. Drugs. I honor those days and I am also so grateful for the stable ground that is my life now. I keep things simple, which lets me have wildness where I really want it: In my creativity. I am a wild improviser y’all.

The even keel of my existence lets me do the things I really want to do— teach with my full heart, make this podcast.

If you’re still in the chaotic season of your life— hell yes baby. Live it, love, go ape. And if/when you want things to feel more calm and easy, that’s an option too.

I love you.

Miriam

P.S. Pic from my birthday last week. I still have fun, just not chaotic fun.

V Day is a Love podcast’s Xmas

Hi babies!

Hugely Happy Val Day from the Ex Appeal Podcast. I’m here for you.

A reminder that you can still soak up the love from your exes. It’s still there so take it in.

Also, what I’ve learned from interviewing 15 exes and counting… the hurt you felt in love is not a diss. That person wasn’t right for you, or couldn’t handle the situation. You tried. And look, if you massively f*cked up, ideally you learned from it and can infuse a better version of you into new romances. Keep loving— it helps all of us.

I sure love you.

ex oh ex oh,

Miriam

Nostalgia

I’ve been recording new episodes! I just did a very exciting one and I feel very lucky. It’s so intense and beautiful to go back in time and spend an hour plus with someone I used to be so close with.

I hope you’re feeling loved.

The show will be back in the fall with more episodes to hug you.

Until then, hold your loved ones, and your teddy.

Also! If you want to help me make season two, I would be deeply grateful for a donation from you. It will make it possible. I’m happy to send you a note or make you a video or shout you out… However you would like your thank you, I’m on it.

Big love

Miriam
